  • They are too cute!! You mentioned "Easter eggers." Are those the ones that lay the colorful eggs?

  • Do you have any pics of the Easter eggers? Do your chickens have names?

  • Nice ... do you have a favorite? I'd imagine you have a collection? If so, what's your most prized possession?

  • I have so many that I love.  One of my faves is issue number 1 of Marvel comics original Wolverine 4 issue mini-series.  Its from way back in the 80's and it was the first time he appeared solo, outside of the X-men series. It was at a time when his popularity was just beginning to soar.  I'm a big fan-boy of the genre.  Wow.  That does sound nerdy/geeky doesn't it?  LOL!

  • Sounds totally nerdy/geeky but cool at the same time. I've never read any of the X-men series but I really enjoy some of the movies (I'm sure you'll have an opinion on this, lol).

    That's awesome, though :)

  • As far as the X-men movies go, I think they were pretty good for the most part, but like any franchise with multiple instalments there are bound to be good ones and not so good ones. I'm so glad they got made though. I have to say, even though I am more of an X-men fan than an Avengers fan, I think Marvel studios has done a far more consistently stellar job with the Avengers franchise. I guess for me Super-hero movies are like pizza or sex, even when its bad its still OK.

  • I'm a big Avengers fan, as far as the movies go, anyway, and I agree with you about Marvel studios.

But I must disagree with you about the sex and pizza; both can be really bad and not worth the ten minutes of your life you spent on either ;) This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at October 22, 2018 7:18 PM MDT

Storms! The power of nature is amazing. I like to go sit on my porch when a nasty storm rolls in just to watch. I don't want my precious computer getting fried by lightning anyway, so I unplug it and entertain myself with Mother Nature's show.

  • Even though we don't get many of those types of storms where I live, I completely get that. I had the opportunity to travel through the desert at night during a lightening storm. It was a little scary but beautifully breathtaking at the same time :)

We get a lot of nasty storms in the summer. Sometimes the lightning is so close I can feel the static, that's usually when I retreat into my house because that usually means a lightning bolt may strike way too close. I've been out there when that happened and that's a little too much for me.

  • That would definitely be a little too close for me. Do you live in the desert?

No, I live in Florida. Apparently it's a lightning hot spot.

  • Ah. That makes sense. I lived in Phoenix for a couple of years and they would get a lot of rain and thunder showers during the monsoon season, which runs through the summer.

Sorry not familiar with that expression. Really not smart enough to be a nerd.
