English (grammar and spelling), taxes (my profession), and baseball (watching Dodgers-Brewers NLCS Game 6 as I write this).

I called that man OUT!  Did you see that in the middle of the 7th, when the big Brewer dude slid in?  They went with the field call as "safe" but We Say OUT!
    IF ONLY>......... !!!!
    I love the Dodgers!!
I guess I do nerd out about them, too!
TAXES?!?!  Stu Bee, we need to message!!

I'm the same way with the Mets, although I enjoy watching any game and I've been to Dodger Stadium on two trips to LA. It's beautiful and so clean, and it was very cool to park and go down to the seats. I've been to several epic Dodgers-Mets games, including the 1988 NLCS and 2006 NLDS at Shea Stadium and the 2015 NLDS at Citi Field. Also, my house in Park Slope, Brooklyn is less than two miles across Prospect Park from Sullivan Place and Bedford Ave., the former site of Ebbets Field. It was demolished in 1960, the year I was born and three years after the Dodgers and Giants moved west.

And here's a fun fact about the Mets and their uniforms that only a baseball nerd would know. They took the blue from the Dodgers, the orange (esp. the NY cap logo) from the Giants, and the pinstripes from the Yankees.
