    Thanks, Zack!
I'm sure that's where I saw it then.

I love the part about 108 beads and stitches!
    :)

I've never seen this movie. I must be really out of the loop -- I don't even think I've heard of it. I like Susan Sarandon. This post was edited by WelbyQuentin at October 27, 2018 6:26 PM MDT

It came out c. 1988. Great film if you like baseball. I actually went to high school with Tim Robbins, who was two years ahead of me.

How fun to be able to say you went to school with Robbins!
    :)

I was an extra in "The Shawshank Redemption" - - in one scene, I'm sitting right behind him.
    :)

I think I might like this Church of Baseball movie.

It's called "Bull Durham." Also great if you like Kevin Costner.

    'Duh' on me!

The title suddenly rang a bell! I have heard of this movie, I just have never seen it.

    Thanks for helping me there.

Hey, I couldn't tell for sure - - is that Juice Newton's version of that song? I like Juice - - I first heard this song by her. I didn't know for quite a while that her version is a cover. And I think her voice is similar to whoever sang it first.

I have given many super hero movies a view and I really haven't liked any of them. I might like this one, if these opening credits are any indication. This was really funny! And well done!

No surprise -- I have a feeling the humor went over my head. But I still find it funny and I enjoyed it.

Hey, I even saw Richard M. Nixon's name.

And the extreme change of music style at the 2:25 mark.
    :)

    Fun!

It helps if you know 'sacked' is Brit for 'fired'.

Is that the most recent still-in-theaters-now "Halloween" movie with Jamie Lee Curtis in it? I haven't seen it.

  • OMG!  I have many that I like, but the silly side of me which typically dictates everything I say and do is telling me to go with this one.  Ask me again tomorrow and it might be something different.

    Ha!
Very good! And complete - - with synchronized swimming!

In my undergrad years I took a semester-long class in synchronized swimming! I was told I was the first and only male student to ever take the course. And I believe all the other females in the class were on the university's competitive synchronized swimming team and they just used the class as a warm-up for their synchronized swimming competitive team practices. Anyway, the class truly was about the most difficult and physically challenging experience for me!

One of the old Pink Panther films had fun credits where the cartoon character did things in time with the famous theme by Henry Mancini.

For fun I went to youtube and I found lots of opening credits to those films that are what you describe. Well, by that, I mean that I saw a lot of animated Pink Panther opening credits. Fun!

Yes?  I remember one I saw on TV years ago.  Most of them were when I was very young and I saw them on TV later.
