Discussion»Questions»Holidays» Tomorrow is Holloween. Do you do anything spooky? Do you celebrate? Do you decorate? Do you party? Do you at least dress up?
I eat candy and if I'm at my parents' house, then I help give out candy :) Otherwise not much anymore. I went to some parties back in college and I loved it as a kid, though.
I am SO NOT into the holidays. I don't care for any of them. I did enjoy going all out for my daughter when she was little, and once my grandchild is born and old enough, I will definitely do the same for him/her.
No. Even when I was young I never really cared for Holloween. Never much cared for dressing up and rambling around town begging for candy. Never saw the point in it. I did it just because almost everyone else did. :)
No I don't see that there is anything fitting about it to be celebrated. Nothing attractive to me in its greed and ghoulishness. We hand out candy to neighborhood kids but that is all.
Not this year. Tonight I am more likely to stay in passing the hours watching a spooky movie or a reading a scary book and enjoying some time with my boyfriend. He's frightening enough as it is.
Let's keep our pants on, at least till Randy D. is out of sight. He's patrolling the place and on the look out for inappropriate faggery, like he assumes is happening with that picture!
My favourite Uncle's birthday is Halloween. He has been gone decades. But traditionally my cousin and I don our Black witches hats and go to to the cemetery with fresh flowers where we hold hands and circle his grave singing Happy Birthday! We enjoy it and feel young and crazy:) While hoping my Uncle is looking down smiling:)
I typically watch scary movies and pass candy out to the kid.
I long for the olden days of yore where community meant everything and everyone participated in the celebrations. Back then, a virgin was all you needed to start things off. Since virgins are nearly impossible to locate today, My boyfriend and I have decided that a prude will suffice
