Can you believe that this show has been airing for years and NO one has made any jokes about this?

They are all covered from neck to toe in these cloaks and furs but never any hats.  It is so insane.

I mean they bend over backwards to make every single thing authentic and NO HATS WHEN IT'S 100 below zero?

    WHATTTTT?????

  • Trust me. That has not escaped me.
I live in the mountains and I sleep with a damn hat on sometimes.

Hell, my weener has a hat!

The wiener is the first thing to shrink, so I totally understand.

I mean this is a freaking WILDLING. He lives on the other side of the Freaking wall.  He's climbing the wall and is 700 feet up in the air and he has NO HAT.

He has a HOOD and he isn't wearing the freaking hood.  WHY GOD???

Everyone seems to be getting their boobs out, too. In that weather. What's with that?

    Ha Ha.

But I will give them this.  The boobs are always indoors or in the South.  They are not running around naked outside.

But, those castles are chilly.  You are right, there.

The entertainment industry does everything it can to make sure its actors and actresses are as recognizable as possible onscreen, including avoidance of anything that obscures their faces or makes it confusing for audiences to distinguish one performer from another.
For exampme example: that's why on police procedurals, the detectives don't wear helmets when kicking down doors but the unnamed uniformed officers do.

Yes, of course.  And in the entire scene, not just the still photo above, if memory serves me, he is shown putting on the headgear, so it's already known who he is before he pulls the goggles down over his eyes.
Nice try, but it doesn't completely negate my response.
