How about Japanese, Swahili, Pitjantjatjara, Urdu, Hungarian, Arabic... ?

It's a matter of what is familiar.

The more isolated one is from other languages, the stranger they sound.

I’ve always thought that of traditional Hawaiian names. Sounds like someone is choking.

*No offense to our Hawaiian brethren, it’s just how my ear hears it.
