I gave myself a haircut this morning, still have to do the hairline in back and shave. I'm taking my female dog visiting at the nursing home. The price of gold hasn't changed.
Thank you, Element! :) I have no blood relatives, no kids and parents dead. My mother was an only child - no extended family there. My father was born in 1902, so his siblings are also long gone, and their progeny dispersed.
I guess you're right that I'm relevant to my husband and friends. Though if I didn't exist they would simply have found others to fill my place and the difference would no doubt be negligible.
As for here, I'm very grateful to have found a welcome. You're one of my fave's here, Element. I enjoy your intelligence, values and humour. I worry a bit and feel impotent when you're having one of your down days.

No. I always feel relevant because I am always connected to the earth physically. When I die I will become irrelevant. That's o.k. The word and meaning of relevance won't even exist when I'm dead. :) :)
