Actress Alexandra Moltke as 'Victoria Winters' opened pretty much each episode of "Dark Shadows" with those words. I posted the first episode's opening under SHARONNA RED IS DEAD'S answer.
Moltke and 'Victoria' are my favorite part of that show. :)
You're right -- by itself, those words are just words. but when spoken by actress Alexandra Moltke, I'm captivated. She and 'Victoria Winters' were my very favorite part of the TV show "Dark Shadows." she brought a sense of reality in all the strangeness. To me, she was a must-needed ingredient to compel all the weirdness into fright.
I love everything about her in this show.
