I have very vague recollections of my grandmother taking me and my brothers to Disney movies when I was super little, but I don't remember being in the physical theater or the movies.
The first one I specifically remember was Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. My mom won tickets on the radio. I would have been seven. I remember my first football game more and I was probably only five for that. Packers at Lambeau Field. Good times.
I don't remember but I often saw movies at the cinema because on Saturdays kid could see a movie downtown for the price of six R.C.Cola bottle caps. Bus fare was $.10 each way. We loved Saturdays downtown. That trip often included a couple of Krystal burgers for $.10 each. No, I'm not old!!!
I don't remember the movie but I remember being at the theatre with my Dad and a woman who also had kids with her. I was prob 5...did not realize until I was older it was likely a date.
"The Jungle Book" - when I was 4 or 5. The strange thing is, I remember nothing about the film itself, only sitting down at the start and my father saying: "If you can't see the screen, we'll move up".
