I was walking in the sculpture gardens at the BMA and saw a Hopkins professor who looked like John Astin. We then passed each other and left it at that.
Glad you liked my post Merlin but, believe it or not, this actually happened to me. I once walked through my local museum's sculpture gardens (adjacent to Johns Hopkins University) and saw a man that looked exactly like actor John Astin casually walking down the path between the gardens. I said to myself, "I know damned well this is not who I think it is!", and thought nothing more of it. It wasn't until a few months later that I learned that John Astin is indeed a drama professor at JHU and often makes appearances at the museum. MY LIFE!!!
I don't by that for a second. You are smart as whip! BUT, since you took the time to include a picture with your denial of sharing, I'll let you slide. Thanks for the funny and stopping by! :) :)
along a road with another a couple of tourist like they were lost decided , even though we live in the area and that they ignored us, to not bother them
It was the thought that counted. The fact that you would have helped them means oodles. If they were ignoring you maybe they were looking for a specific blade of grass. You may still be out there hunting for it with them. It's a good thing you didn't interrupt their quest. Thanks Beans!! :) :)
This is true. When you saw them for the seventeenth time walking around the block, maybe a flashlight and a backpack with some food would have been a help? Looking for those thoughts can take years to find. :) ;D!
Between this and Manfred Mann's Doo Wah Diddy, my head is going to be swimming in song! The ladies look so much alike he could be looking forward or backward and think he was looking at the same women! A cute song for sure! Thanks Not Sure! :) :)
Well, yes, they are sisters. And the guy is a brother. Their name is Brown. That's why they are called "The Browns." Jim Ed, Maxine, and Bonnie Brown.

I'm sure the insults were really an effort to reach out and help each other out of depression in a very masked way. But, as long as you both understood what was going on, I see no harm. No foul. I'm sure you were smarter than the robot anyway. :) :)
