Not really. What I like about summer are the longer hours of daylight, but I don't like the heat and humidity. When it's cold, you can always add another layer for warmth. When it's beastly hot, you can take off all your clothing and still be miserably uncomfortable. And, they don't encourage you to do that at work. They say it's distracting.
I'm not, but the 50 or so plants crammed inside my small garage sure are. I keep telling them, they can't come back out until the Easter cactus blooms (all the pressure's on that big guy).
Actually, I've been counting down the days until Winter. I love the cold weather. There's no humidity, there's no soup air, and there's no heat. I'd rather it be about 40F all year long where I can wear my jeans, jacket, and boots comfortably all day.
Not yet, I'm just going to try to get through the winter with the least amount of risk. I've been buying ahead with supplies, less to carry in the ice and snow. Need to pick up a couple of bulky items and I'll be fairly set for the winter.
Not really, Ski Season is almost here and the Boards are screaming take me out to play. Kayaks and bikes have been stored for the winter. The running shoes have had there 1st application of grit to prevent sliding on morning runs. Bring on the cold, do note we do not believe it is cold until the mercury hits -20.
We have a love affair with all seasons. What really bothers us is High Humidity Summers which seem to be occurring more frequently these days
Not quite yet. We had a miserable one here. Hazy, hot humid and very, very wet!!! But, I'm sure my attitude will change right around the middle of January.
