Have you ever wrecked your family budget so badly that you've been warned to quit buying all those danged tildes OR ELSE?


 (I got caught trying to order a new batch from an Indonesian brokerage firm last week. It was not a pretty scene, let me tell you.)

    Have you ever considered switching to * until things cool down.  How about a  ^ it looks like a party hat.  I feel ya bro, maybe wait until after New Years, give the little woman a break.

      "Switch"?   And betray my beloved tildes?  Besides, I couldn't be seen in public with such inferior punctuation marks, the neighbors would talk.  I suppose you want me try try elipses next. (Shivers violently.)

    A pilcrow or two wouldn't hurt. You need to diversify your portfolio, the market value of tildes could crash.

      The tilde remains strong overall, it was my risky hedge fund speculations that did me in. Grrrrrrrr.
