For me this is a perfect answer. Honestly D I was not thinking of such loving words one hears from one's beloved. I was thinking of the don who keeps repeating repeating repeating repeating repeating repeating repeating etcetera and so forth. His base can't get enough of it. I don't get it. Thank you for your very swell answer and Happy Wednesday! :)

Well as I've told you before I LOVE your family! You know what's puzzling to me D? I've known a few couples who never touch. Now of course I don't know what goes on in their homes but out and about Jim and I often hold hands or I put my arm through his. I sometimes just give him kiss. When we go to the market we go in different directions. Sometimes I give him an assignment. He has a basket with our  empty grocery bags and I have a basket and the basic marketing list. Before we part we agree on what time we'll meet and then I kiss him on the cheek and say "good hunting". It's just what we do.  Of course we do nothing untoward or lengthy or mushy. But it makes me wonder why others don't do things like that too. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday to thee D! :)

My parents were/are very hands on with each other....I can remember my dad always trying to get to grips with her ...lol. Often it was the other way around as well..

My dad nearly always takes my mum shopping....I think he likes to keep their house well stocked with booze....he often goes on regular booze cruises to France for the best cheeses ever ,dried meats and all sorts of things....always a lot of beer and wine as well...
Their breaded France  is great ....but we have to freeze it as soon as possible as it goes stale so quickly ,their bread is all preservative free and most French people buy their bread twice a day....
Not everone is the same Rosie....my brothers and sisters and myself are all part clones of my parents ....:)

Years ago my son was in Paris...he and a professor at his university had gone to a conference in Darmstadt, Germany and then after it was over took a train to Paris where they stayed a couple of days. Sadly it was on 9/11. So my son was kinda stuck there longer than expected till he could get a flight home. He told me that his breakfast was a freshly made baguette and incredibly delicious cheese which was so fragile/delicate they couldn't export it. So I say LUCKY YOU D! Wow. LUCKY YOU! What is your favorite French cheese? There was one I tasted many years ago that was imported (I guess it was a sturdier kind) called Explorateur. It was a triple creme cheese and so good. I lived in Playa del Rey which was at the beach at the time and would go to a cheese shop in Venice or Santa Monica a few miles away which was a very upscale cheese shop and that's where they sold it. I'd treat myself to some. You know how you go out to buy shoes to treat yourself? I go out to buy nifty foods to treat myself. But I moved and never found another source for it. It was silky velvet on the tongue and was comparable to a Brie or Camembert taste-wise, both of which I adore also. Then there was a domestic cheese called "Breakfast Cheese" which I used to buy years ago too and that has similarly disappeared. But I digress. Living where you do gives you access to so much great stuff! LUCKY YOU! Thank you for your informative reply D! :) This post was edited by RosieG at December 20, 2018 3:50 AM MST

I say the same prayers every morning.  But that is a different idea entirely.

Ritual is important when connecting with the Spiritual.

Maybe that is why TRUMP does this.  Maybe he is very very holy.

I was thinking of the don when I asked the question. Nice Jugs gave a swell answer Sharon. I hadn't even thought of that or of what you just said.  There is comfort in ritual. In fact every morning I greet Jim with the same two sentences which I will share with you. "Did I tell you I love you" and "Happy (FITB). At night we kiss and wish each other "Happy Dreams". It's  a very comforting ritual for me. I wonder (because I'm weird I guess) how Melania greets the don every morning and what they say to each other at night before bedtime? I don't understand his base LOVING hearing the same old crap repeatedly. For years. He doesn't let go of anything and keeps repeating repeating repeating repeating repeating repeating and they ALWAYS get off on it. Go figger! That graphic you included is shocking. The don should carry it on a chain around his neck 24/7. Bet his Evangelicals would get off on it. They seem to never mind whatever evil degrading thing he does. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday! :)

Not particularly. Because a word to the wise is sufficient.  We are not stupid and we get where you are coming from and what you believe. So no need to bludgeon us over the head with it day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day . . .    . Please have some mercy!
