  • I bought a gift card for my hairstylist, a gift card for my mom, and guess what I am going to buy for my daughter and son-in-law?  Yes, a gift card.   They are thee best.   They can get what they want, and no one ends up with extra crap that they don't need or like.       In January when the other side of my family get together for the holidays, it will be PJ's and books for the little ones.
I probably have an extra gift card lying around here somewhere, if you want one. haha This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at December 19, 2018 11:01 PM MST

None.  I bought the groceries to make lasagna for a crowd plus a chocolate cake for my nephew and Jesus' birthdays.  I don't buy Christmas gifts.  Oh, I did send a two pound box of chocolates from around the world to my daughter and her kids.  I send them great birthday gifts but they know how I feel about Christmas gifts.

Every Christmas I get all the teddy bears from the thrift stores and give them to the kids in the trailer park next door. Last year I got down to the last one when I found a note that said "I want a bear" written in a childish hand that I identified as Jessica (from another note asking for a book). So I took the last bear, got a kid to show me where Jessica lived, and I put it in her hand. She was so blown away she forgot to say thank you until somebody said it for her.

I  noticed a store advertising 'liquid amber' in their window so I checked to find out what liquid amber might be. It was the name of a tattoo shop. Do you want a tattoo?

just bought a big Chocolate Christmas log.
Sooo decadent, for one of my clients.
it looks so good, all kinds of different
    chocolate decorations on it.
And the log?  Around 1 foot long,
    and 6 inches thick...yummy
    looks like some rolled up
    chocolate stuff...haha

Nothing. I am mercifully spared the task of buying lots of stuff.  I am starting to decorate my house.

I will send my daughter things, I will make food for social events and that is about it.  I had to donate some money for the Christmas Party we threw at work.  So, I'm good.
