What's the biggest lesson your experience has taught you about relationships?

For me, it's never to get into a relationship with an office colleague.

Don't get into any. People are users.

Not every one is like that.....There are more good people then evil ones.....if not for the unsung people that keep things running ,don't rob or steal and don't think there are better then others ,the world would be a far different place.....

Its part of Juggs Law now as you well know....:)

Everybody I meet seems to think that I am supposed to be better at it than they are, and if not then I am rejected.

Well certainly I agree with that.  But mostly I would say that good relationships are less about romance than about just enjoying each other's company and being good friends.

The "spark" that people are looking for these days, makes them overlook some fantastic people, they have great first dates, but because they don't immediately fancy them, or feel butterflies, they disagree to see them again.  I see this bollocks on the TV all the time, if I'd been that shallow I would never be in the wonderful relationship that I am today.

  • To come to a conclusion about a certain person based solely on the first date experience is somewhat like judging a book by its cover, isn't it?

Yes when we just expect someone to do it all for us we forget that we have to at least get ourselves to the place where they will be able to!

Never fall for two people at the same time.  It's pure hell.
