Because my birthday is Christmas Eve, I haven't ever spent it doing much other than staying home for a quiet cozy night with my parents. That said, in 2012, when I turned 21, I was in southern California the day after Christmas to celebrate my birthday. We spent the whole day in Laguna Beach and even though it was winter, it was 75 degrees and sunny there on the water. My friends spent the evening on the beach watching the sun set. It was a very memorable day, even if it wasn't the actual date.
