What's one thing you would like to see develop or be invented during your lifetime?
For me it's that I'd like a cure for cancer to be developed. I know they can treat quite a few cancers now.. but it's not enough.. I want it cured... all of them... all of the time
Lowering of the ridiculously high costs of everything involved in medical care (worldwide*).
*Even in places where the prices are not exactly exhorbiantexorbitant, certain medications, treatments, procedures, devices, etc that are out of reach for many inhabitants. ~

Not here in the Great Lakes Region. BTW, The Northern Africa deserts get an infinite amount of sun. It can be used to distill incredible amounts of water. We have the technology. Also:
Home Compostable Plastics
No international standard has been established to define home-compostable plastics, however, national standards have been created; in Australia: AS 5810 “biodegradable plastics suitable for home composting”, and in France: NF T 51-800 “Specifications for plastics suitable for home composting”. The French standard is based on the “OK compost home certification scheme”, developed by Belgian certifier TÜV Austria Belgium.[4] The following are examples of plastics which have conformed to an established national standard for home compostability[5]:
Ecopond Flex 162 resin, maximum thickness 65 micron BWC BF 90A resin, maximum thickness 81 micron BioPBS FD92 resin, maximum thickness 85 micron Torise TRBF90 resin, maximum thickness 43 micron HCPT-1 triple laminate, maximum thickness 119 micron HCFD-2 duplex laminate, maximum thickness 69 micron
I like cleaning ( it's therapeutic for me when music is blaring, and I am home alone), and I don't even mind folding clothes and doing dishes. The one thing that I simply cannot stand to do though is make coffee. So, I need a coffee maker for my coffee maker.

Put a paper towel on the counter and a coffee filter in the center. Put 2/2 cup of grounds in the filter, gather the corners of the towel, and tie with a twistie. Put that is 24 ounces of water and let it soak 24 hours. Remove the grounds and refrigerate the concentrate. When you want a brew, mix one part concentrate with three parts water and nuke it.
This makes a low acid coffee, equivalent to Kona at one tenth the price. I use whatever brand of coffee is on sale at the bargain store and everybody loves my coffee. Except "dark roast." I don't buy that.
Western Medicine without side effects... ...Also would like to see an evolving consciousness with awareness of the real truths of life develop, which means instead of moving backwards with global awareness of a Neanderthal, to move forward with a healing of the Earth and all of it's people. And a new attitude of respect for life within a growing humanity. ...all of that would be nice for a start...
