Who taught you how to ride a bicycle? ~

  • #2        I was about 5 years old, and I remember sitting on my brother's bike.  Just sitting there. I guess I did that enough times to finally get the hint that no one was going to teach me to ride it, and sitting on it for hours became boring, so I just figured it out myself.   After I learned how to ride, my parents bought me a purple Schwinn with a white basket, purple tassels on the handlebars, and a white banana seat with big yellow flowers. I loved my new "ride".

    2. I find that odd. It was on a full-size bike and I was only 7. I just got on it and started riding. I have a similar question.

  • #9  I was a sickly delicate child. Parents restricted my play activities as a result:(  It was not until I was 20 that a now ex boyfriend taught me how to ride a bicycle and I  loved it:)

  • 3.  My Dad.  I remember I was about 6 or 7 and got my first 2 wheeler.  It had training wheels for awhile.  Then my Dad took them off.  He would run behind me as I pedaled to steady me and let go without telling me.  I road off into the sunset all on my own eventually.  (I hope that's enough detail for you ... lol!!)

    #3. Once I learned, it was hard to get me off of it. I even rode before the school bus came in the morning. Once I became a teen, I had a newspaper delivery route that was 7 miles long.
