Is it true that the problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money?

    Fabian Socialist George Bernard Shaw was for "humanely gassing people who did not contribute to society," so I'd say no, using other peoples money certainly wasn't the initial aim of socialism.     The socialism that I’ve heard of was usually infected and sabotaged by the corruption and/or ineptitude of the govt leaders empowered to dole out the ”benefits”.

    The problem is that humans are absolutely lousy at self government in numbers larger than a small city, and even cities don't have great reputations.
