  • i would walk across town to the only local metaphysical "witchy" store in the area 

    it takes about an hour just to walk and then i will spend another few hours book browsing, reading, looking at crystals, herbs, and i like to read the notes and offerings people leave at the altar. sometimes i leave my own if i feel i need to

    Flea market that is open 7 days a week in the area here. I go there to pass the time.  Always interesting stuff at a flea market.

    It's complicated to acquire a while so instead I always say 'a few minutes' or a few hours or days or something. 

    "I went to the flea market to spend a few hours".

  • I would go to Home Goods ... a place that sells nice things for the home at discount prices.  Or .. maybe just to Walmart to people watch.  You can get an eyeful there!  LOL!

    People hang about for "Whiles 
    Do things for a "While"
    Sleep for a " While " 
    Run for a  " While" 
    Other just "While " away their time doing  nothing...hehe
