    My parents had a lot of The New Christy Minstrels in their album collection but I only remembered the song a lot again recently hearing it on the radio several months ago when I then posted this question.

    I always liked them on the radio.  Back when they were big, the radio was a favorite pastime for everyone.  Now, not so much.  But back then, we all listened and played the radio all day long in our homes and those guys were always on some station or another.  But Green Green was really the only one I see that I remember really well.  It was a cool song.  I like the idea of them again.  Something about minstrels and their instruments are quaint and yes, make you feel light and happy and energetic.  Good call.
