It looks like a beautiful country. Back in the AB days, we had a lovely Scottish woman member. I still chat with her on FB and have spoken with her on the phone!
I love Scotland. We've been there twice for a month each time. We are waiting to hear if a friend's house will be available to us this summer so we can spend several months there on the North Coast.
Gorgeous place of good looking women, good whiskey, and fantastic food. I get there at least once a year on a buying expedition - with Brexit it looks like my taxes are going up.
Looks beautiful and I'd love to visit. Some of my ancestors are Scottish and it's been said that no country detests Trump more than Scotland. I just know that I'd fit in. :)
How can you say terrible food. Have you been to Inverness, Glasgow, Edinburgh or the outer Islands all have great food especially my favorite Inverness.
Don you and I must have been in two different Scotlands
I can only comment on my own experiences. Compared to truly great foods I’ve enjoyed along the Mediterranean, India and East Asia, I am unimpressed with the local fare of the Isles in general.
I've never been and it's one of only a few places I really would like to visit in this life. I have enjoyed two TV series on Netflix that were about a Scot detective. They were Hinterland and Shetland. Both had gorgeous visuals of the terrain.
Note of correction: I believe that Hinterland actually takes place in Wales.

I don't have an opinion on Scotland, because I have never been there. I believe some of my ancestors were from Scotland though. I would love to visit one day.
