You'd be waiting a long time 'cause I wouldn't answer the door out of fear. I'd sneak to the garage to get a better look at you through the window that faces the porch.

Only in slang, not in correct English. It's a loose and sloppy pronunciation that makes the speaker/writer seem uneducated IMO. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/sammich

So do you assume you're telling us something we don't already know?  We're well aware that it's slang, that's the spirit in which it was written: just joking around.

I'd have you mow the lawn and then clean the pool.

Hey, why does he get pulled in?  You  called the guys in the white coats when I showed up at your place wearing something strange!  Forget both of you; I'm going back to Jane S' house, WHERE I BELONG! Grrrrr.

Well, it might have something to do with the fact that I've never had to take out a restraining order against him. Maybe.

I would ask you to get a grip of yourself and sheath your weapon before you attempted to poke anyone  with it.... Plus ,thank God that you weren't in possion of a Lance or far wirse a Pike....They really do have sharp teeth    to get the bite on you with...:)D

On reflection....I would hope you would shield me from such  chivalry....more so as its winter here and still Bloddy could....As you know, man kinds metal shrinks so much after a knight out in the cold     :)D
