The Tilde is to Tildism as the Cross to Christianity or the Eight-Spoked Wheel to Buddhism.

The shape of the Tilde symbolises The Wave, the eternal changeability of existence in this universe, the eternal dynamic of rebalancing and the finding of equilibrium. It's ethos is balance and moderation in all things, even moderation in moderation. It acknowledges the vital importance of freely given generosity, of nurturing the well-being of life in all its plurality, of cultivating wisdom through close attention, observation, experience and memory, and of cultivating love through attention, empathy and compassion.

A tilde is just a crooked line. If you don't walk the straight and narrow ------- you are a 'tildest'. Your key is never used EXCEPT in communications with some guy named 'Randy'.
