Has your acting skills ever saved your life?

One friday I was walking home from work (4 to 12 shift) with my weekend 6 pack of Lucky lager in a plastic bag and along the way a guy with a butcher knife tried to rob me. So I used my acting skills to pretend I was scared and also that I was gay and also a bit of a drama queen. The guy still insisted that I give him my money so I said - well honey I don't have any money but if you want to get lucky - then I glanced over at some bushes. When the guy turned his head to look at the bushes I clocked him in the side of his head with the 6 pack of Lucky lager in the plastic bag and when he stopped crying I told him he's lucky it wasn't a 12 pack. Any way since it's the weekend I thought I would add a link to the song - Give Me Your Money Please by BTO. Cheers and happy weekend!

    Ha ha

    ok

    used to own a club

    in the Haight

just before a big show once

the people that we leased the juke box

    and cash register from

came in to take it away because we were late on the payment.

I closed the front door and challenged these two big dudes

with a "You have to go through me to get that machine out the door.

we need it for our shows that night and i would be in tomorrow

with the money" ...whew...(very stupid move)

since they were probably both armed...

...Thankfully they let us keep the cash register.

Dealing with the Mafia types is scary...but the show had to go on.

Jerry Garcia was doing a benefit for us that night. full house 2X

    really miss those days

    now i will cry...

Well as far as missing those days go - you got to look for a Dead Head sticker on a Cadalac  and think to your self you can't go back.  I imagine you got to talk to Jerry Garcia must of been grand  and now it's some good memories. Cheers and happy weekend!
