But it's NBC, not Fox News. NBC is not pro-Trump or pro-GOP.

  • They're reporting what they hear from the Trump organization.  That is the real/fake news IMO.

Did you read the article? Here's a relevant paragraph:

U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell, the highest-profile openly gay person in the Trump administration, is leading the effort, which kicks off Tuesday evening in Berlin. The U.S. embassy is flying in LGBT activists from across Europe for a strategy dinner to plan to push for decriminalization in places that still outlaw homosexuality — mostly concentrated in the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean.

An ambassador to a foreign country is a very real person, an openly gay person in this case. If Trump is so anti-LGBTQ, why would he have appointed such a person to such a high-profile post? Still think it's fake news?

This can only be about expansion of US power. It can't be a sudden outbreak of political correctness.

Oh, ******. If His Royal Orangeness gave a flying f**k about the LGBTQI community,  he wouldn't be banning transgender folks from military service. He's also still best buds with two dictators (whom he wishes to emulate) who rule nations in which homosexuality is still illegal - Russia and PDRK. He can't ban anyone from military service. That was ruled as unconstitutional by a federal appeals court c. 2010. He did, however, appoint an openly gay person to be ambassador to Germany.
