    Ivory soap used to be made of real ivory from walrus tusks and was good for carving small knick knack items with and selling them to American tourists as souvenirs from the Arctic.

    Ivory soap has one of the highest pH numbers ever..........not good for the skin at all.

    so it's white and floats?  BIG EFFIN' DEAL.

    don't buy low-priced soap; your skin deserves better.........ya don't have to buy the most expensive soaps, but PLEASE DON'T USE IVORY.

    not sayin' you have to get soap that costs $5 a bar, but please no Ivory.......

    try castile soaps instead; a little better for your skin.

    remember, take care of your skin; ya only have one!!!!! LOL

    Egads. I haven't heard that in a while. I don't use soap on my skin. Just a combo shampoo/body-wash.
