  • I’ve never heard of Sams Club, so yes. Cut her out of the will.

Don't have a will yet, but I have to teach her right from wrong.  Am I right or am I right?!

Oh hell's no.  You guys should negotiate a card trade if needed.  Sam's has bargains that Costco may not and vice-versa.  Work cheaper, don't work on behalf of COSTCO.  You are not Costco's BASE.  You are not a mindless consumer.  COSTCO needs to work for YOU to earn your business.  NOT VICE-VERSA.

I guess we could come to an agreement and card trade.

Some people just like to buy ketchup in 24 bottle cartons.

Maybe they do Sam's Club because they stock No Name products and Costco does not. No Name is cheaper than Costco prices.

Maybe not.  I have been to both and they both have the same junk.  I mean really.

I have cards for both; I went to Sams today actually.  Costco has better quality "things" like sofas or computers.  As far as food and stuff you would buy in a drug store, they are about the same.   I recently read that Costco has surpassed Amazon as the #1 online retailer.  I don't see it, myself.

WOW.  I wonder if that is accurate.

I worked at Walmart at one time for a few months and they hated the fact that they were being bankrupted by Amazon. LOL that was how they were acting because they were no longer number ONE and their Black Friday's were going way under.

Costco is America's favorite online retailer.   I read it here.  It doesn't make it true.  https://bestlifeonline.com/costco-vs-amazon/
I, personally, think Costco is not a good place to shop online since they started their grocery service. Item that I used to order from them with free shipping for $12.99 are now $22.99 with $3.00 shipping.  Many grocery-type items doubled in price when they decided to be an "official" online grocery retailer.   No...they are not my favorite for online.

  • It all depends on where you live.  We had Sam's Club where we lived in IL .. but now we have COSTCO.  They're really not all that different IMO. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at April 6, 2019 9:21 AM MDT

My daughter said they're pretty much the same.  But I gave her money for a Costco membership and she never got one!  I will wait patiently for her to come to her senses.  lol

  • We like COSTCO now.  It's just so busy all the time.  But I have to say they do make those long lines move pretty fast considering what they're dealing with.  Maybe your daughter will come around ... GREAT GIFT!!
