    Surface mount?  Did you run a reflow table or use hot air  guns?

    The boards were made with reflow tables. I could replace individual ones with a tiny soldering iron and a 10X loupe. Mostly it was the transistors that went bad. Electronics tech in the Navy.

    Ahhh,  I mostly use the heat gun on my soldering station  instead of the iron for these and under a microscope.  I have a small flow table too
