No one ever called me anything but ROSEMARIE. A big name when you're a little kid. I wanted to be Ann. When I was 30 I met a gal who became a good friend and right off the bat she called me ROSIE! It stuck. If it were not for her I'd probably still be ROSEMARIE. I think I grew out of being Rosemarie and grew into being Rosie! Weird though. You'd think it would be the other way around right? Nickname when you're young and a PROPER name when you're old! But where's the fun in that? Where's the fun in being typical average ordinary strict bythebook PROPER when you're old. I wouldn't know.
