Does anyone here still roll their loose change? Or is that a too olden days thing to do?

Only in the winter and I need to deposit it for bills. 

  Now that you mention it, I realize I haven't done it in years, maybe a whole decade.

I still do. In fact, I have some I need to take to the bank.

When it builds up
I just take them to a coin machine
Like a gallon of coins etc...

I put it into the roll sleeves and deposit them in our account. 

I have a whole load of change, some rolled, some loose.  TD Bank used to have a machine where you deposited all loose coins and they credited your account or gave you back bills.  They were not supposed to be charging for the service, but someone discovered that they were not giving the full amount to the customer so they removed all the machines.  Now I have to find out whether they will take the coins loose or if I have to roll them.  It's a pain.

I stopped about a year ago.  I use the change now instead of rolling it.  I just don't let it get too voluminous.  

I leave the change in the piggy bank until I want to use it. Then I go to a coin counter with pig in tow. 

No I use it whenever I can.  If I have too much change I take it to the bank and use their coin counter

Ya we roll up all our change and save it for Christmas shopping and Christmas treats - we  usally have $600 in change. Cheers!
