Lot of energy and opportunities to do different things. I'm 73 now and muchly settled down now.

I used to be able to read something once and remember it.  It showed when I went back to school.  I had to study and study and study and study.  It sucked.

Best thing about the teen years is that eventually, they pass. :)

The easy going nature of Provisional Adulthood before we knew and understood the swamp we had just entered.  I also miss the ease of not having any assets so to speak.

  • Always feeling energetic and excited about the future!  So many wonderful things to look forward to .. so many options to choose from.  I guess I also miss many family members and friends who have passed away or gone out of my life.  I know there are good and bad things about all ages .. but nothing compares to being young in so many ways.

I'm with easyjolene; being a mom to young kids is the first thing that came to my mind.

I'll add that I miss being able to do pretty much whatever I wanted to physically without being in pain. And I miss my young eyes, too.

I miss the ability to walk for long periods of time without knee and back pain.

Being able to play sports. Actually I was good to go until I hit 55 and the bottom fell out. This post was edited by Element 99 at April 6, 2019 6:28 PM MDT

The 70s and the 80s. When people were practical and reasonable. When there were so many new things to learn about and experience and enjoy. Being young and carefree, hanging out.  Didn't have much so there was not much to lose.

Mostly the lack of pain. I was in shape back then, too.
