    That would be a tough sell ... considering Nixon didn't go that route.
    Even Gerald Ford wouldn't have been able to pardon Nixon, if Congress had impeached him.

    Whom is he selling?  Besides selling himself out, which he did decades ago?  I mean who is he answerable to?

    He would have to sell the courts, because you know somebody would file a motion that it isn't within his power.
    Since there is no precedent, and it is a Constitutional issue ... it would eventually go before the Supreme Court.

  • No need for a pardon for someone who hasn't been formally CHARGED or CONVICTED of a crime. Let's see: No arrest, no indictment, no conviction, no sentence, no appeals and no PARDON. I knew that I had retained something from all of those years in courtrooms.

    Well, in a few seconds, when he is?  Can you try holding your breath for a few seconds?  It is a given that he will be charged.  And when he is, if he does pardon himself, he is admitting he is guilty.  Amen.  Poetic Justice.
