Was there ever a movie you saw that portrayed life the way you’d like to see it?

The suspense is unbearable 

I remember that though saw it later. They were - they led a very vigorous lifestyle. 

Earl Hamner's first attempt to get the "Waltons" on the screen. He later incorporated two or three of the "Spencer's Mountain" incidents into the "Walton's" series. One of the more memorable ones was the drunk preacher that everybody ostracized.
