What was Hitler's mental illness?

I never hear people talk about this. He had to be insane.

I would guess he was a paranoid schitzophrenic.

I'm sure he had some mental health problems, but I don't know that it's wise to explain away the worst human behaviour as being due to mental illness.

Hate. He was deceived by Satan.  Many people have paranoia, or OCD, or Anxiety, but that doesn't make a person hateful. He probably had Antisocial Personality Disorder (An extreme form of narcissism where people have NO empathy or caring for others. It was called Psychopathic behaviors before)

I had thought that, but one could argue that he did care about the German people. At least the white, Catholic ones. Although one could also argue that it was all to serve his own thirst for power and control. So maybe this is right.

I remember being taught in History class that he was actually insane. And that it was caused by an untreated case of syphilis.
