But nope. I don't think it would change. I hear every time the abortion debate comes up, that "loving couples" would adopt the kids. I don't believe it because they aren't adopting them now - nor are they sponsoring foster children who are in state care.
No. This is a joke-speculation. I allowed it into existence because of the irony. These anti-abortion people think abortion is wrong and the only way to support them is to stop producing. No one is going to do that, so we need to change sex. IT WAS INSANE.
And your point about no one is adopting enough kids is AMAZINGLY and SADLY true. It is the real answer.
YOu hit on the way I really am. I am not into chics. Never even wanted to kiss one. NOPE. But, I am very fine with not having any relationship at all that has to do with a bad romance. LOL That is what captivated me about Anthem. I did not even know that people who were hetero were happy. These folks are married for years and love being with each other. What a concept.
Anyway it would be so nice if we could magically be drawn to our own sex for at least a decade or so until things normalize and we stop the population growth and balance it and when the idea of too much homo erupts, we go back to hetero.

If everyone was homosexual then we would have already perfected the ability for same sex couples to create their own biological offspring by now. Reproductive science has been at work on that for a while, but science moves slow sometimes.
Oh GOD. OH GOD. NOOOOO. I have no issue with this besides the fact that we have zillions of kids on the planet right now that need parents. Good ones. We don't need to create more people. NOT NOW. Maybe in a few decades when the populous has died down to just say 20,00000000 billion. Maybe then. WE DO NOT NEED MORE PEOPLE. We have too many now.
