That the color of sea foam is the teal-like color it is advertised as.
That all sharks that live in the ocean want to eat us.  They don't even like the taste of us.  They spit us out.
That all oceans and seas are blue because of the sky.

We see a lot more seas than we do Oceans.   Oh wait, there ARE a lot more seas than oceans. I bought into the misconception that there is a misconception about the fact that there are more seas than oceans.  What is wrong with me?  This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at May 19, 2019 11:08 AM MDT

That they contain water.  Recent studies have shown that, due to heavy pollution, many seas and oceans contain more contaminants (ie. plastic, pesticides, oil, industrial chemicals) than actual water (H2O). This post was edited by Shuhak at May 19, 2019 2:55 PM MDT

The volume of earths seawater is ~ 1.3 billion cubic Km. I doubt that there is a higher volume of contaminates..

Hyperbolic humor.  (I didn't expect anyone would actually believe it).   I could just have said "that they're wet".
