I have/have had some hot neighbors at times. I didn't/don't spy on them. But I do/did enjoy noticing them when they're out and about. And, fortunately, they've all been really nice guys, too. We talk/talked together a lot. ;)
I didn't mean to spy but, she was being crazy and making a lot of noise while I was in my office. I looked out the window and noticed she had gotten a big ladder and was climbing up onto the porch, then into a window.
Later, while I was still in my office, I heard the male neighbor talking, I looked out the window again and the police were there. I was wondering what was going on...
Then, they (the police) knock on my front door. I answer and they asked if I saw anything. I told them what I saw and the male neighbor informed me she robbed him (his soon to be ex-wife). The police asked why didn't I call the police. I told them it was none of my business and I thought she had just gotten locked out somehow. They said thank you and left.
The husband was rude to me from then on. Sucks to be him is all I ever thought.
But if they were living together why would she have needed to go in through the window to rob him? As well as make noise while doing so? And if they were married wasn't she legally entitled to a percentage of whatever? Very strange. So he was rude to you you think because you did not call the police?
I later had contact with her. They were going through a divorce and I had no idea. He was rude I believe because she got the better of him and to him, I was "on her side". Which was incorrect. I never had anything to do with them other than waving as they passed by. It just got weird. I was really indifferent to both of them.
No, not my style. There is nothing good to be gained by spying on neighbors. Attending to my own interests is enough.
