Had to look it up. I had no idea what "daddy's girl" meant. Got such a shock. There seem to be two definitions. The older one means a woman who chooses an older man for his money.
The more recent one apparently means a highly neurotic woman who is promiscuous at the same time as being clingy and jealous, insecure, and obsessed with men or a man to the exclusion of any interest in women as friends. Weird. I've never met any woman with that particular constellation of problems. Makes me wonder whether some amateur psychologist has put all aberrant behaviours into one basket and said, "it's all because her Daddy was absent when she was a child."
