It's Wednesday evening, right?  She and McKinley, one of her poodles, are just leaving PAWS.
A community gift she gives by bringing her dog to the library and encouraging children to read.

  • My mom is at home with my dad in Sacramento. Given the time of day, she is probably reading or doing crossword puzzles. :)

  • She's just finished texting me to make sure I haven't been raped and murdered by extraterrestrials.

Now she'll probably watch Law and Order reruns.

Her ashes were strewn into Cundy's Harbor, Maine 20 years ago.

I have two cubic inches of her ashes in a heart-shaped, filigree and cobalt enamelled box.
My sister has the remainder in an urn.
