From what I've personally observed ... socialists tend to be people who live in cities. And generally, people who live in cities don't have backyard gardens.
Nope. Socialists usually live in cities or suburbs and work for salaries.
Farmers are rarely left-wing voters. A farmer is forced to think like a capitalist and businessman because he must get the best prices possible for the least costs if only to ride out the bad years with the hope of a few good ones.
Socialists eat the same as everyone else, which includes a few staples, though the style of food will tend to depend on their cultural heritage, which could be from any country in the world.
