It is not my call to say whether some Canadians speak French is wrong or right.  It is your country and you should speak whatever language you desire.

    I usually don't care.
But I'm not going to a barber who only speaks French and doesn't have a ruler, again.

I didn't know there were any French people from Canada. Also, I'm not Canadian. You can speak whatever language you like.

Their generally OK. One of my friends is from Quebec and his dog is bilingual I find that pretty cool. My friends last name is Melbeth (probably not spelled right) but when you translate it to English it = Bad Beef which is appropriate because he is a tuff boy. Cheers!

Or I can make a grammar mistake every now and then and if you show up just to point out the mistake I'll reply back with my new and improved comeback. Which BTW is sung to the toon - I mean tune of the Mighty Mouse song.

I dunno. If they're anything like the French-French, they'd probably act like self-absorbed, stuck-up, obnoxious snobs. I might go so they can talk-down to me, and treat me like a piece of shhh♠♠♠. lol

no we are pretty much open-minded. But not everyone know to speak english correctly. its more the young generations , with the internet and all that, they know well how to speak english.

But the older people have more difficulty knowing english.

  • Well to be honest?  Usually I find many to be arrogant and rude. At least a lot that come to visit. Its annoying AF to when they pretend not to speak any English.

That said I used to love trips to Quebec  and Montreal.  Its been to long though

Oh you ever went to quebec province ? Nice. Are you from the USA ?

so you find them a little bit arrogant/snob ? Not everyone is well educated, I know much of people who cant speak english for real. Not everyone learn english from the internet usage.

  • Yeah... From The USA on the St. Lawrence.

I'm making a broad generalization and have had 0la th if good experiences with many as well.  I'm not even sure how much of it comes down to culture clash and misperceptions/communications either. Quebec is pretty cool and there a lot to see, but it kinda sounds like a hard place to live in. One thing is for sure,  Montreal has a lot if hot AF chicks.

The French were in Canada BEFORE the British were.
EVERYONE in Canada should speak both languages.

Gee, you seem to have forgotten that before either the French or the British, there were already people in what's now known as Canada who spoke their own languages . . .
