    with bacon fried till crisp
    and your favourite kind of bread (I love anything wholemeal, but my fav is rye-carraway)
    sliced to your preferred thickness  - toasted and buttered

    All with bacon fried till crisp

    classic BLT
    bacon, prosciutto or any of the Italian varieties
    cos lettuce, cut into thin ribbons (julienned)
    ripe red tomatoes - Roma - sliced
    egg - your choice of fried, poached or scrambled
    ~
    Avocado with chopped parsley and ground black pepper
    ~
    Brie cheese, baby English spinach leaves and thin slices of raw red onion
    ~
    Grated carrot, Gruyere cheese and Black pepper - melt together in the bread under the grill
    ~
    Sweet versions are popular in America - try adding slices of chicken breast, maple syrup or fruit compote, with crispy lettuce or celery
