What are some common misconceptions about winning the lottery? ~

    Not sure - without looking it up.

    Most of us have probably heard how the money rarely lasts long unless the winner gets sound financial advice.


    I'd guess many people imagine that it would solve most of their problems.
    I think too much money would create more problems: 
    like thinking money means you're entitled to perfection and behaving like a spoilt brat towards servants, tradies and salespeople,
    or thinking money can buy things that can only be earned through good character (like love)
    like never knowing someone's real motives in befriending or dating you,
    or relatives and friends taking advantage,
    like imagining that it might remove emotional problems or bad habits,
    or having to worry about locks and security systems.

    But then again - wouldn't it be wonderful to donate millions to favourite charitable causes?
