Last thing I argued about was wheather it is OK to run a red light at 3am or so when there is no traffic. Stop look proceed -what's wrong with doing that? But many people say that's a no-no.

I don't mind honest debate about ideas. I believe it's necessary to test our thinking, discover any flaws in our premises, and remain open to the possibility of errors.
I don't enjoy the type of argument in which one or both sides are determined to win by power-over tactics, such as attempting to befuddle, gaslight and abuse, or the use of false argument strategies such as straw man, red herring etc.
