    Yes, they still need to tick. They need to make that other noise too. And if they refuse to then we have ways to make them tock.

  • Yes they do. Living alone, I find dead silence in the middle of the night quite eerie and scary. The soft tick of my good old clock is most soothing and lulls me back to sleep.
