"Prompted"? "Cause"? You are talking about Intelligent Design. Evolutionists always insist that their stupid theory is entirely random. But they can't discuss anything without first assuming that there was in fact some intelligence guiding the process.

The only reason that theory hangs on is that supporters have gotten control of grant funds. If it weren't for the money, evolution would be forgotten in a heartbeat, because it has nothing to do with reality.

If there is an Intelligent Designer shouldn't there be a quadrinity; Father, Son, Holy Ghost and Intelligent Designer ?

Them ID people are well brainwashed by those smart cookies at the Discovery Institoot.
Their material sounds so real I could almost believe it myself if I didn't know better.

  • You have it back to front ... There was no goal of achieving eyesight ... It just came about through small incremental changes

Interesting how nature works; evolution of all the sesses.

I can't think of any new kind of sense that we could be cheated out of.

Attractive members of the opposite sex. (Or of the same sex if that's what floats your boat.)

  • Check the animal kingdom Kitti, there's loads of them.  :)

The world looks completely different if you're a pigeon, or a fly, or a manatee.  They all have senses, or variants of senses that would be to us like a new sense.  So do dogs for that matter.  There's all these different ways of 'seeing' that we just don't experience.  If I think of things like that, the world becomes much more mysterious.
