I'd have to say it was my 30th.  I celebrated it for an entire week.  My then boyfriend had something planned for every day. This post was edited by SpunkySenior at July 11, 2019 2:26 PM MDT

It was - 43 years ago.  I'm not sure I would survive that kind of celebration today. :)

It was someone elses' birthday. A friend from elementary school invited me to his birthday party. We were very poor in those days, so I didn't have a present for him. So I got my old scuffed up football and wrapped it up in gift paper.  He unwrapped it and laughed and made fun of it. We were never friends after that.

This is why I believe in karma.  NO GOD would do that to an innocent little child.  THAT IS SO HIDEOUS.

The only way I can deal with this story is to think that we all pay for what we have done in a prior lifetime (s).  Perhaps you were brought back to learn compassion and now you know how it feels.  Life can really be extremely mean.

I don't have memories that are categorized by holidays.  I endure holidays.  I try and have fun anyway, but they are not my idea of a fun day.  Not automatically.  Anyway, I don't categorize memories that way.

I'm not sure how I do any longer, to be honest.  I just try and remember as many things as I can about the body each and every time I do a massage.

I don't even remember what year it was.
I wanted to take guitar lessons, but my parents made a "deal" with me that if I took piano lessons for 2 years I could take guitar lessons.
So after taking piano for 2.5 years, I reminded them of the "deal" and asked for a guitar for my birthday.

    They gave me a recorder.

I stopped taking piano lessons, and threw the recorder away a couple weeks later.

It was the one were there was a parade and fireworks. Actually there are parades and fireworks on all my birthdays because I share a birthday with Canada. But my new most memorable one is the one that just past because I got to see the look on our new Grandsons face when he heard the bagpipes for the first time. Cheers! • I'd say it was my 28th.....it was the only birthday since probably being 8 or 9 years old where it could have actually been called a party.  A coworker/friend of mine at the time put it all together and she knew me well enough to invite the people I would actually want to see.  It was a very random gathering of people I had worked with and gone to school with over the years...I remember seeing all these people in the same room that all knew me but were meeting each other for the first time and thinking how funny it would be if they all ended up hating each other.  Alas they didn't...quite the opposite actually.  The night turned out to be quite a blast.
