    I treated them like anybody else.  (which some appreciated, and some didn't)

    I had a drop-dead GORGEOUS very good friend in junior college Walt who was even SMARTER than she was beautiful. She was constantly being underestimated and treated as arm candy when what she should have been was acknowledged for her brilliance. She HATED it. After a very brief time I really saw HER and felt bad for her because she was so much MORE than her packaging.I realized then that being beautiful had a downside.
