I don't know where the idea of hurling ones undies at TJ became a thing, but for the 60s that was very, very risque. LOL
If you pull that on me, I’ll catch them with my teeth
Thank you for posting that song. I nearly forgot about it, but boy...that is a great song and Tori as backup?! That speaks for itself...
Aside...Tom Jones is one of The greatest modern American vocalists and I stand by that assessment. When I was young, I did not appreciate him as well as I should have and thought of him as "old person" music. When I neared my mid 20s and early 30s, I recognized TJ for exactly what he was; amazingly talented with smooth, powerful vocals. He chose songs that deliciouslycompliment his amazing vocalizations. I love everything about Tom Jones; his look, his sounds, his personality, his sense of humour, and yes...his kitsch which he fully embraced and wore on his well-coiffed sleeve.
I Love My Tommy almost as much as I love my Twinkley Dink

DESERVEDLY SO!
That was so good and it also gave a boost to the group, "The Art of Noise" and others. TJ along wigth the Cardigans did a great cover of the Talking Heads song, "Burning down the House"
